They sell filtered luckys in the UK, but not unfiltered lucky strikes. Also the reason they say unfiltered are more expensive is that they are made with better tobacco than unfiltered ones. The truth is they dont want the ordainary guy to smoke them. Great review.
I’ve been smoking Lucky Strike (filtered) for awhile now. Just recently, I started cutting off half the filter and it gives you a much stronger nic buzz, though a harsher taste! I’ve been wanting to try unfiltered ones (was going to get Camels) but since you guys said these are better I’ll stick with them instead. Thanks!
Im smoking a lucky strike right now, switched from an American spirit full flavor. Best fucking desicion I’ve made in a long time! I heard they used to only give them to the generals or captains during the war. I now see why..
I’ve noticed that a lot of reviewers mention they don’t understand why unfiltered smokes are more expensive. The reason they’re more expensive is because 1. there is significantly less demand for them and 2. they contain more tobacco than a filtered cigarette so the cig will stay together and burn better. Personally I find unfiltered too strong and dislike the tobacco getting in your teeth. Great reviews, guys!
Question.
I can only find these cigs in “filtered” around various shops in town. If I cut off the filter are they pretty much the same as the unfiltered brand?
I love lucky strikes, idk what you are talking about when you say they are “harsh” I think they are fine, and I have only been smoking for like a couple months.
Unfiltered cigarettes are slightly more expensive because fewer people buy them. Because of this they are not purchased by stores in large quantities like popular filtered cigarettes. When stores buy large amounts they receive discounts from the distributor, but since stores purchase so few unfiltered cartons they do not receive a discount.
the fuck?? whered u get them
TOOLS
ive had filtered lucky strikes when i went to London some turkish chick gave it to me

These are my favorite cigarettes.
Heh, I got one of those gold rings talking about how no cigarette is safer than another cigarette around my current pack of Reds, too.
I love the good ol’ USA, but goddamn, our government is amazing at pointing out the obvious.

@gizmothedog No don’t do that They use lesser quality tobacco in filters so it will taste like crap. theres no substitute for the real unfiltereds.
i like unfilterds they have to use purer tabbaco to ensure these burn. a little more tar nothing serious

@timothyanddoris1 do you know where to get them in america? i havent seen them in a while been smoking camel nonfilter
@PRJCTMYHMHD My theory about it is that they have higher quality tobacco? They sure don’t taste the same as a red that’s filter is ripped off.
Sonny Crockett’s favorite brand.

@MaeteraEditing They were discontinued in 2006 but you can order them online. I recommend the European made Luckies.
